Two positions are open for Postdoctoral Research Associates in Organic Semiconductors as part of the Optoelectronics Group at the Department of Physics, University of Cambridge. Closing date for applications is April 9th, 2017.
Position 1. Semiconductor Device Physics of Molecular Semiconductors. This project will explore the generation, manipulation and use of spin-triplet excitons both in LEDs and in solar cells. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the optoelectronic properties of functional molecular materials. Direct experience of measurement of optoelectronic properties of thin-film semiconductors and of device fabrication, processing and characterisation is required. Experience with colloidal nanocrystals is desirable.
Position 2 Ultrafast Optical Spectroscopy of Molecular Semiconductors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the development of techniques for ultrafast optical spectroscopy. Direct experience of ultrafast optical spectroscopy and its application to the spectroscopy of semiconductor or molecular materials is required.
These positions are advertised on the web at http://www.jobs.cam.ac.uk/job/13149/ with a closing date of April 9. Potential candidates are welcome to contact me, at email@example.com for further information
